You can enjoy both hiking and cycling around Mt.Washu
Plan Detail
Together with the guide, you will ride the electrically assisted bicycle along the “Road of the Wind” which uses the abandoned “Shimotsui Electric Railway” track that connected Kojima and Shimotsui as the cycling road.
While running between private houses with a nostalgic atmosphere, the guide will stop at the ex station site and explain the history and culture of this area. You can see the town of Kojima and the Seto Inland Sea from where you pass through the trees and climb up a bit.
Park your bicycle at the ex Washuzan station and start hiking on Mt. Washu on foot.
While listening to stories about Mt. Washu and the Seto Inland Sea National Park from the guide, you will aim for the summit.
When you reach the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the spectacular 360-degree view, and you can see the beautiful islands of the Seto Inland Sea and the floating islands in the Seto Inland Sea, so you can refresh your mind and body.

9:00: Meet at Kojima Industrial Promotion Center.
Cycling along “Road of the Wind” with the electrically assisted bicycle for 30 minutes.
(On the way, you will pass through a scenic spot where you can see beautiful cherry blossoms and the Seto Inland Sea in spring)
Park your bicycle at the ex Washuzan station and start hiking Mt. Washu (about 135 minutes round trip with a break)
12:00: Return to the ex Washuzan Station and return to the meeting place via “Road of the Wind” with the electrically assisted bicycle (about 30 minutes)
(Afternoon course)
13:00: Meet at Kojima Industrial Promotion Center.
