Yugasan(Mt.YUGA) was very popolar destination of visiting the shrine during Edo period.Not only the common people, but also the feudal lord visited there. You can enjoy the cycling along this pilgromage path and walking along the nature trail with the veteran travel guide.

There are 4 routes of pilgrimage to Yugasan. This tour takes you to Yugasan via the northern route of pilgrimage, which was also used by the feudal lord. There ara Torii gates and pounds along the way. You can enjoy the cycling. After cycling, you can enjoy the nature trail walking including SETONAIKAI National Park. You’ll cross the mountain passes, hike through the mountains, and pass by the cherry blossom garden. You can also experience the traditional Japanese culture “Exorcism(Ward off evil spirits) ” at Yuga Shrine. This is very special experience! For Healing, you can enjoy “Gozen lunch”, the typical Japanese style of lunch and Hot spring bathing in a place surrounded by nature.
This is not just a tour. It’s a journey to reconnect, with nature, with tradition, and with yourself!

08:30 Meet with English speaking guide at JR KIMI station. English speaking guide will explain the itinerary and how to use the bicycle of “e-BIKE”
Let’s start the cycling along the old pilgrimage route!
08:45 Arrival at the first Torii gate (gate of shrine) It’s time to take a picture of beatiful scenery of Torii gate and ponds (10minutes)
08:55 Departure to the old lantern of “Yugadaigongen-Konpiradaigongen”
09:15 Arrival at the old lantern. It”s time to have a break (15minutes) *we’ll leave our e-BIKE here.
09:30 Let’s start the Nature Trail Walking to Yugasan along “Chugoku Shizen hodou” via “Jizo pass” and the cherry blossoms garden.
11:00 Arrival at Yugasan. move to Yuga Shrine by foot.
11:15 Experience of “Exorcism” including the dance of shrine maiden and the ritual of “Yakudama” (Throwing a ball containing the evil spirits) at Yuga Shrine.
12:15 After Experience of Exorcism, go to the hotel “Santouka”
12:30 Lunch with “Gozen Ryori” (Japanese traditional style of cusine)
13:30 After lunch, Hot spring bathing and having a break (1hour)
14:30 Departure to JR KOJIMA station by car
15:00 Arrival at JR KOJIMA station. Finish this tour.

- Please note that this content(tour) may be canceled due to bad weather.
- Those who can ride a bicycle (mileage approximately 3.1 km) and walk the nature trail (walking distance approximately 3.7km) are eligible.
- Please come dressed to ride a bicycle and walk the nature trail.
- Due to the size of the bicycle, those who are less than 150cm tall cannot ride it.
- Infants and elementary school students (under 13 yeas old) are not allowed to participate.
- Helmets can be rented upon request.

・People over 150cm tall can participate.
・We will be cycling and walking, so please prepare appropriate clothing and shoes before participating.
・Direct sunlight may be strong in summer, so be sure to bring sunscreen or insect repellent spray.
・Depending on the season and location, pollen may appear, so if you have hay fever or don’t like pollen, please consider it yourself before participating.
At that time, please bring medicine etc. for hay fever.
